The Damen Shoalbuster 2709 ICE is a compact, multifunctional vessel, with an ice class notation. Like all the vessels in Damen’s Shoalbuster range it is a multipurpose, shallow draught workboat capable of undertaking a wide range of roles including towing, mooring, pushing, anchor handling, dredge support, supplying and other activities. The Shoalbuster 2709 ICE features a reinforced hull, robust propulsion arrangement and steering gear in line with Bureau Veritas Ice Class notation 1C, as well as a waterfall winch.
