Description
2024 Albury Brothers 33 Transom Hung Twin engines
Nobody beat this bottom for overall seaworthiness & seakindliness. Being the most overengineered and structurally rigid hull in our fleet, she feels solid and offers passengers a ride that rarely slams, and never shudders.
We accomplished this using a 4 piece construction technique. All glass is hand laid, Plexus is used to adhere the bulkhead/stringer/box grid to the hull, and vacuum is used extensively to create strong bonds. Our 33 provides a full 11’ beam forward, tapering 1.5’ at the stern. This keeps her ends light, and reduces drag at speed. She has a long waterline & substantial freeboard, while still maintaining a beautiful sheer.
Her enormous volume provided room for 4 large storage compartments, 2 fish boxes, builtin coolers, a transom live well, & room inside the console. You will be astounded how big she feels for her size, not to mention her ride, handling andstability.
For 2020, we proudly introduce the “B” for Bracket versionof our 33. The B version comes with a closed transom with large live well (powered by a sea chest), Armstrong bracketwith Triple engine capacity, 21 inches additional cockpit space, and optional SeaKeeper gyro or side doors. With three 350hp engines, she has a economy cruise of 35 mph, fast cruise over 50 mph and tops out in the mid 60’s. Your likely to run her around 47-48 mph all day long, & she tracks.
With a pair of transom hung 350’s, she feels like she’s floating on top of the swells. This transom design makes for quick water egress and the ability to work fish around the engines. Pictured above is a 33 rescuing 37 people after Hurricane Dorian. Notice her swimplatform and scuppers are still above the waterline. Hopetown Volunteer Fire & Rescue offered us this “Thank you Albury Brothers for building such a safe and stable boat to allow us to operate our critical rescue missions ininitial hurricane force winds, and to get so many people to safety”
Stability, crisp handling, & a tight turning radius are a given. Spearing waves, just not possible. She can get on, and stay on plane at just 2500 RPMs when it’s rough. More capable than our renowned 23, she can take you literally anywhere. Experience the ride that caused us to name our personal 33’s “Flattening Agent” & “What Wave?”
