2018 Fat Cat Boats CB-25F

Fat Cat's CB-25 Flats Deck is designed and engineered for high-performance, featuring a key-slot transom with a stepped, "Mod VP" hull, commonly called a "pickle fork". This unique combination provides the racing performance of the Mod VP hull together with the shallow water performance of a key-slot transom. The benefit of the key-slot transom is that it reduces the dead rise substantially improving shallow water performance unseen in other Mod Pod V varieties on the market. In addition, it clears the water at speed allowing the Mod VP to perform unchanged. This unique hull design is shallow water performing and quick, as it packs air and lifts with speed, also giving the Avid Angler the smoothest ride available in the shallow, choppy waters found in the Laguna Madre and similar waters throughout the Gulf Coast. The low profile "FLATS TOP" gives the CB-25 the sleek look desired by the serious flats fisherman.

Sight casting for gamefish has never been more exciting. Team Fat Cat is pleased to offer their (patent pending) scissor lift system that will lift the seat and console area six feet above the deck level. This lift is constructed of powder coated 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and weighs approximately 250lbs. This innovative design lets the angler travel to and from their favorite fishing spot in a low profile/low drag setup and run the flats in search of fish from an elevated position. This gives the angler a greater vantage point. The more altitude you have the greater distance you can see. No more climbing down from your top drive tower. Now we can be at deck level in seconds with the push of a button. In addition to the altitude, the lift system acts as a shock absorber. This lift really will put you a head over the competition.

As with all, Fat Cat Boats, the CB-25 Flats Deck model is available in a variety of colors, including metal flake, custom paint jobs, and wraps. In addition, there are several seating and console options in production to choose from to start your custom boat design. Our goal at Fat Cat Boats is to make each design custom and unique for each owner.
