2018 American Tugs WAYPOINT 36

The Waypoint 36 is a new model being introduced by Tomco Marine Group that is designed around our current 365 hull and deck tooling. The idea behind this project is to offer the boating public a more affordable, quality trawler that is capable of handling the waters from California to Alaska or Florida to Maine. The proven performance of the American Tug 365 (previously known as the 34) is the baseline. We are beginning with the same hull and deck structures with the same fiberglass construction process and materials. The hull is solid glass and the deck is cored with various materials. The stringer system is still the same molded grid that is in the 365. The interior will have more molded components and subsequently fewer options. The initial layout will include two staterooms and a salon/galley with dinette that converts to a third bunk. This layout will offer more accommodations than any previous 365 making the boat a perfect cruiser for younger families or those with grand kids.
