The Solo Skiff is an all one piece seamless motorized fishing kayak. Rotational molded in high density polyethylene, with two layers for a hull thickness of over 1/2", the Solo Skiff is built like a tank.

Do you have to run a few miles to get to a certain spot that day ? Clamp on an outboard. An outboard motor on a Solo Skiff is the ultimate in cruising speed and range. Using an outboard with a small external tank gives you incredible range try 40 mile range on two gallons of gas ! Using an outboard motor with a built in tank (on top of the engine) is the ultimate in portability- and leaves more space available for other gear since the tank is built into the motors cover. The smaller motor also saves a little weight. It is up to you to decide, but its just one more option. The next power option is an electric trolling motor. Want to cruse the shoreline and throw crankbaits for bass all day-or toss under the mangroves for snook use a trolling motor! A trolling motor on the Solo Skiff has to be tried to be fully appreciated. The control handle is easy to reach, right at your back, so moving along all day is simple- just sit on the seat, grab the tiller and bump the boat down the shorelineits truly awesome. You can bump the boat along all day, and cover miles of fishing ground in a totally relaxed way that is a pure blast to do, a true kayak on steroids. What it lacks in speed it makes up for in fishing ability for sure. When it comes to storage the Solo Skiff has tons of it! The seat doubles as a hatch. When you open the lid it opens up to the entire inside of the Solo Skiffs hull- a huge amount of storage space ! The storage in the hull is bone dry- getting water in your hull is difficult so its easy to keep everything that needs to stay dry, just that-dry. Because the hatch is so large, the boat so stable, and the cockpit open, getting to your items stored in the hull is easier than you can ever imagine, far easier than hatches elsewhere in kayaksBy organizing your primary use items under the lid you can have quick easy access too your tackle,camera, whatever. You can take the things you do not use as often and slide them fore and aft under the floor areas as it is all open to use as storage as well.
