The floating dock system series R-2 is engineered for harbours subjected to boat traffic wakes, exposed to above average wind loads, and geared towards satisfying the berth users changing requirements

Fingerdocks and cleats are adjustable on tracks, optimizing space use and client satisfaction. Neoprene & acetal connectors prevent noise, absorb shock and dissipate stress, eliminate costly maintenance.

Structural design;

• 2" x 5.25" - 6005 T5/6061 T6 alloy heavy gauge frame

• 2" x 1" - 6005 T5/6061 T6 alloy deck support stringers

• 3" x 1.5" - 6005 T5/6061 T6 alloy float support stringers

• 1" x 1" - 6005 T5/6061 T6 alloy truss braces

• Load capacity 100 PSF

Decking;

• 1.25" x 6" pre-drilled red cedar decking, with rounded edges

• Fastened to aluminum stringers with stainless steel 18-8 screws

Choice of;

• Red cedar

• Aluminum decking

• Plastic decking (Thruflow)

Floats;

• Roto-molded polyethylene with heavy wall thickness (0.150 nominal)

• Foam filled using a 1 to 1.5 eps density

• Features a flat top configuration, air pressure relief valve and offers a heavy duty mounting flange

Freebord;

• Freeboard of 14" with 12" floats, overall height of 17.25"

• Freeboard of 18" with 16" floats, overall height of 21.25"

Buoyancy;

• 25 to 50 PSF

Fasteners;

• (Aluminum hinges) connecting rod 1/2 stainless steel 304 with acetal bushing & locking devices

• (Rubber hinges) connecting bolt 5/8 stainless steel 304 with neoprene spacers, locking devices & back plates

• Decking: stainless steel screws 18-8 Philips #10 x 1.75"

• Tracks: 1/2 stainless steel 304 T head bolt w/lock nuts for cleats (10") and peripheral dock components

• Tracks: 3/8 or 1/2 stainless steel 304 bolts w/locking devices for dock components
