Description
2001 Crestliner Tournament 172
When I fish structure, Im a control freak. For pinpoint control, even in the wind, my boat is a wide beam 172.I appreciate big, roomy pro-style walleye rigs as much as the next guy. But Ive got to have control under all conditions. And this baby gives it to me. My 172 is a side console, but I could have opted for a tiller. I like the deep hull sides. Theyve got a solid, stable feel. And, with all the features on this boat, Im ready for virtually anything. Theres a reserve fuel reservoir, rod management system that individually cradles each rod and lots of room to stow gear in the cargo nets and true dry storage area. Compare my boat with anything being fished on the circuit today and youll find theres nothing lacking. Fact is, Ive got goodies those other boats dont. The Flow-Rite livewell system is so far ahead of the market it doesnt even realize its being followed. Rated for a max hp of 150, this baby moves out, and yet when you ask, sits down for trolling. If you press me Ill admit that there are some things I cant control and Im not happy about that. But when Im on fish in my 172, everybody knows whos running the show.
