2001 Crestliner Jon JR 1431

I needed a boat light enough for me to toss in the back of a pickup. And it had to be tough enough to stand up to my hunting buddies and those rowdy fall weekends. If there was any boat maker that could fill that bill, it hat to be Crestliner. I checked it out and wasnt disappointed. This is the only riveted Jon Ive seen built to welded boat standard. They have oversized ribs and super strong framing that can really take a pounding. My first choice for color was olive drab; good thing because its standard. So are die-cast bow and stern handles, level flotation, composite transom and oar locks. When we go hunting, we rough it in more ways than one. Thats reason enough for my Crestliner to quality as the perfect hunting rig.
