NJ Safe Boating Certificate Courses

Causeway Marine is proud to partner with Safety First Boating School to host courses in our Manahawkin, NJ Showroom.

Founded by chief instructor Lew Donovan, a USCG-certified, licensed captain with 40 years of boating experience, Safety First Boating School opened its doors for business in 2001. Since then he has grown to become South Jersey’s largest private boating school, conducting more than 50 state-approved classes each season. All courses are listed with the Boat US Foundation, taught by USCG-licensed captains, and designed to be engaging, educational, and fun.

Their goal is to teach you what you need to know to enjoy powerboating—safely.

In addition, they offer a variety of services to help you become a more skilled powerboat operator and make your time on the water more enjoyable.

Classes at Causeway Marine will be held on select Sundays from 8:30-5PM at our Manahawkin, NJ location.
